Come together with a cohort of peers who work in roles that promote housing justice to “spotlight” a health equity barrier pertaining to the housing industry in Colorado communities

Week-long (Monday-Friday) learning session

Participate in an Action Learning Project where you will share your learned skills and passions

Interpretation and translation services for Spanish-speaking individuals, for most events and engagements
All CLI programs are offered at no cost to the participant which includes reimbursement for travel expenses
This program is designed for:
Emerging leaders focused on advancing health and health equity for Colorado’s BIPOC communities through housing justice, policies, and resources. In applying, you acknowledge that you are a current employee of an organization whose mission involves or affects housing justice in Colorado.
This program is intended for those preparing for, or new to a leadership role. Applicants serve as an individual contributor in their organizations; have little or no formal professional leadership development; and have demonstrated a significant, positive impact on their organization and/or community.

Additional Details
This program is focused on increasing health equity for local communities across Colorado. The week-long learning session will take place in the central location of Colorado Springs, at the Center for Creative Leadership. The session requires overnight stays at the designated hotel and offers a variety of activities throughout the day, including leadership framework discussions, large and small group work, reflection and goal setting, meals, social activities, and wellness practices.
Following the in-person learning session, you will move into the action learning phase of the journey. You will work together with your project team in completing a community-based health equity project, focused on housing justice.
This includes:

Attending six (6), 60-minute online workshops that provide instruction for the project deliverables

Attending weekly project team meetings to share progress and complete activities and assignments
-
Monthly (at least) check-in meetings with your mentor to discuss your challenges, celebrations, and support needed
